Mubboo Flight Route Structure Index 2026: route-level international airline capacity data, 2024-2025 (US, Australia, Brazil)

Route-level data behind the Mubboo Flight Route Structure Index 2026, which measures how many independent airline suppliers operate international routes, month by month, in 2024 and 2025. The CSV holds 3,656 route rows calculated from official operated-seat (capacity) records: 3,164 US-linked airport pairs from the US Bureau of Transportation Statistics T-100 International Segment data, 194 Australia-linked city pairs from BITRE, and 298 Brazil-linked airport pairs from ANAC's Dados Estatísticos. For each route it gives annual seats in both years, the reporting carrier labels, the largest label's share, a monthly concentration score (100 × (1 − mean monthly HHI)), the effective number of suppliers (1 / mean monthly HHI), and the number of months in which at least two labels each held 5% or more of seats. The panels use different geographic units (airport pairs vs city pairs) and must not be pooled. Scores use reporting labels as filed; corporate-group and joint-business scenarios are published separately in the report. The data measures capacity only: nothing about fares, tickets sold, consumer welfare or competition law. Files: the route CSV, a data dictionary (README.md) and a one-page method-and-limits note.
