Detection of Leishmania antibody and DNA in ungulates in endemic areas of leishmaniasis in southern Iran

Detection of Leishmania species in animals is important for determining disease transmission, reservoir control, and vectors. A Survey of ungulate Leishmania infection has not yet been investigated in Iran; therefore, this study aimed at evaluating Leishmania infection in ungulates in endemic areas of leishmaniasis in Iran.
