Indian crossbred cattle fed with different diets and the rumen microbial and CAZyme profile analysis. Rumen microbiome analysis

Indian crossbred cattle were fed with three different diets for a period of 21 days. The animals were fed with only dry forages, dry forages with concentrate mixture and both dry and green forages along with concentrate mixture. The rumen digesta samples were collected at the end of the experiment and the total DNA was extracted from the entire rumen contents. The total DNA was then subjected for whole metagenome sequencing under Illumina - Mi Seq platform. The data was analyzed using different bioinformaic tools.
