A price survey was conducted on the cost of a single bag of mixed rice base across all supermarkets nationwide, resulting in an average price of 233 yen in October 2024. Over the period from January 2015 to October 2024 (a total of 118 months), the month with the highest price for mixed rice base within the national supermarkets was June 2022, at 287 yen, while the month with the lowest price was October 2024, at 233 yen. The price difference between the peak (June 2022) and the lowest (October 2024) price periods for mixed rice base across the national area was 53.4681 yen.
