Cyber insurance purchase criteria for German SMEs 2021

The coverage amount and price to performance ratio of cyber insurance were the most important purchase criteria for German medium-sized companies. Almost 95 percent of the decision makers surveyed in December 2021 cited the coverage amount and 94 percent cited the price to performance ratio. However, less than one quarter of the surveyed SMEs already had cyber insurance.
