Here we provide three files containing the main model parameters (of the mean model of the multidimensional posterior PDF) used to make the figures in the main manuscript. Note that here we provide the "raw" data, whereas the figures were plotted with differentdegrees of smoothing according to the resolution tests presented in the Suppl. Material.<br>Files:<br>1 - "Africa_NG_2022_v1.dat": This file contains temperature (oC), density (kg/m3), Vp (m/s) and Vs (m/s) of the model, from the surface down to 380 km depth, at vertical increments of 2 km. Note that only the average crustal density and Vp are reported (distinct values for sediments and crystalline crust), as they currently are the most reliable magnitudes for these parameters. We are working on refining the sensitivity to the vertical stratification in the crust. Note also that the true layers' thicknesses are reported in a separate file (see below). <br>2 - "Africa_NG_layers_v1.dat": This file contains the thicknesses of both sedimentary and crystalline layers in the crust as well as Moho and LAB depths. All magnitudes are in meters. If sediment thickness is zero, it means that no sedimentary cover was considered (i.e. the entire crust is made up of crystalline rocks). <br>3 - "Africa_NG_2022_mantle_v1.dat": This file contains the concentrations of the five main major elements (Si, Al, Ca, Mg, Fe) and the average, bulk Mg# of the lithospheric mantle. <br>Please contact J.
