资源简介:
All eukaryotic organisms are associated with a diverse microbiota and form a unit, termed metaorganims or holobiont. Maintaining this multi-organimsm consortia plays an important role in health and disease of the eukaryotic host. Phages and phage-bacteria co-evolution have tremendous effects on bacterial community composition and function. Therefore, understanding phage-bacteria interactions is from enormous importance. In this study, we analyze the co-evolutionary dynamics between the dominant Curvibacter phage TJ1 and suspectible Hydra-associated bacterial colonizers (Undibacterium, Duganella, Pelomonas) and how in vitro aquired resistance might interfere with the bacteria-Hydra interactions.
