The bathythermograph (XBT) and other data were collected as part of Tropical Ocean Global Atmosphere and Coupled Ocean Atmosphere Response Experiment. Data was collected from Ship KAIYO. The data was collected over a period of one month in November 1992. Data was submitted via File Transfer Protocol by Kentaro Ando of Ocean Research Department, Japan.
