Interview codebook data related to Perceptions of Science and Expertise Among Alternative Ranchers in Alberta, Canada:

This study looks at how ranchers in Alberta
relate to scientific information and expertise, asking the question How are science, scientists, and scientific institutions perceived among alternative livestock management practitioners in the Canadian prairies? This qualitative study sought out alternative ranchers who choose variousmanagement practices, such as Holistic Management and Adaptive Multi-Paddock grazing. In depth interviews were conducted with twenty alternative ranchers. Original transcripts of the interviews contain sensitive participant information and are thereforesubject to confidentiality requirements as per the Research Ethics Board of the University of Alberta guidance. Thus, the data presented here codebook obtained from all the intereview data was that coded using NVivo12.
