Dataset of Chinese listed firms' internationalization

This dataset contains raw data on the internationalization of Chinese multinational enterprises (CMNEs') listed on the Shenzhen and Shanghai stock exchanges. we normalize the names of subsidiaries in the subsidiaries list obtained from CSMAR by manually collecting data from listed firms' annual reports and websites. Based on this accurate list of firms’ subsidiaries, we then calculate variables related to firms’ internationalization.
