Effects of Lilium brownie and Allium sativum L. Polysaccharides on Colitis in Mice

This study aims to investigate the ameliorative effects of polysaccharides from Lilium brownie and Allium sativum L. on colitis in mice. A dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced mouse model of colitis was established to evaluate the efficacy of these polysaccharides in improving clinical symptoms, repairing colonic tissue damage, and modulating inflammatory responses. The findings will contribute to understanding the potential applications of natural plant polysaccharides in the prevention and treatment of intestinal inflammatory diseases, and provide scientific evidence for the development of functional foods and natural therapeutics.
