The impact assessment of the microbiological diversity on the wells aging of selected occurrences of mineral waters of Serbia was carried in 2018, which are located in different hydrogeological and geotectonic regions. The occurrences of selected mineral waters are captured by wells from aquifer with different structural and hydrodynamic characteristics within which it is carried out the accumulation and renewal of mineral waters. With prior knowledge of the physical and chemical characteristics of mineral waters, an analysis was carried out using a system of 6 reactions tests of biological activity (BART): IRB, SRB, SLIM, HAB, DN and FLOR BART biotests, as well as the metagenomic analysis of microbiomes using the next generation techniques based on the sequencing of the 16S rDNA gene. The results obtained showed that there is a risk of development of biocorrosion and biofouling, which are manifested by reducing the exploitation capacity of wells, which requires revitalization measures that demand serious financial resources.
