资源简介:
Photographic portrait of Spanish (Mexican?) musicians on the patio of the Avila adobe, Los Angeles, ca.1900-1909. Eight men and one woman pose in bolero dress; the leftmost man holds his violin cradled in his folded arms, while the man to his right plays the scratcher. Next, a guitarist can be seen standing behind a seated cello player, both with their instruments. A fifth man apparently has no instrument and stands to the right in a bandanna. The bassist stands behind him with his bass, next to which the woman, without an instrument, leans up against one of the porch's support beams. Two more guitarists are pictured in front, one standing, one sitting, again both with their instruments. Some sort of trellis stands in the right foreground, with vines growing over it.
