The breast cancer screening population was selected for small RNA sequencing of plasma exosomes, one of several types of extracellular vesicles. The analysis included 728 piRNAs, 2656 miRNAs, and 154 tsRNAs. Overall design: Female residents aged 40-74 living in cities were recruited through public health programs to participate in free breast cancer screening. This screening includes clinical examinations, blood tests, imaging examinations, and pathological examinations. We selected blood samples from both screening positive and negative populations. Exosomes were isolated from plasma. Small RNA sequencing in exosomes was performed. The isolated exosomes were selected for identification using Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA), and Flow Cytometry (FCM) detection of exosome surface proteins. The sequencing identified 728 piRNAs, 2656 miRNAs, and 154 tsRNAs. UPDATE: [Jan-30-2025] The "Positive" Sample titles were changed to "Negative" and vice versa.
