Gene expression profile of K562 treated with the combination of imatinib and miR-342-5P

To determine the specific gene expression of imatinib in CML cells with or without miR-342-5P expression, gene array analysis was performed. K562 cells were transfected with miR-NEG or miR-342-5p 20 nM for 1 consecutive day pre-exposure followed by IM 0.5 μM exposure. Total RNA was extracted from each cell line 24 h after IM exposure and gene expression was compared between 4 groups, control (miR-NEG), miR-342-5P, miR-NEG+IM and miR-342-5P+IM.
