The MGED ontology describes microarray experiments and is split into the MGEDCoreOntology, which supports MAGE-OM v1.0 and is organized consistently with MAGE, and the MGEDExtendedOntology, which expands MAGE v1.0 and contains concepts and relationships which are not included in MAGE.
