Place Image, Quality Services, and Event Attachment in Sarawak: Moderating Role of Community Support in Economic Development

This dataset investigates the role of event attachment in driving local economic development in Sarawak, Malaysia, particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Data from 1,265 event attendees were analyzed using WarpPLS 8.0. Key findings reveal that place image, service quality, and community support significantly influence event attachment, which in turn promotes economic growth. Notable events like the Rainforest World Music Festival and Sarawak Regatta are explored. This dataset provides valuable insights for event planners and policymakers aiming to enhance event attachment and foster economic development in the region.
