A 2024 survey showed that influencers have an impact on purchase decisions, as 55 percent of Italian consumers following an influencer on social media are influenced by them when shopping online. However, the percentage was slightly lower than the worldwide average, at 66 percent. Another 51 percent of surveyed Italian consumers considered influencers' recommendations trustworthy.
