Revisiting fungal polarized growth: from spitzenkörper to crescent accumulation of secretory vesicles

This dataset accompanies the article Revisiting fungal polarized growth: from Spitzenkörper to crescent accumulation of secretory vesicles. It contains the raw and pre-processed confocal images, datasets, and analysis scripts used in the study. Content of Data_repository.zip: 000_Images: Raw confocal acquisitions, pre-processed images, and time-projections for the two strains analyzed in the study. 001_Datasets: Two Excel files (Dataset_TDC and Dataset_DFT) containing time series of mean fluorescence intensity per frame, used for Temporal Dynamics Clustering (TDC) and Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) analyses, respectively. 002_Codes: Two FIJI macros (for apex tracking and p% thresholding) and two Python scripts (Code_article_TDC.py and Code_article_DFT.py) for signal processing, statistical analyses, and figure generation. README.md: Explains the organization of the data repository and details the key functions of Dataset_TDC and Dataset_DFT. This same README file is provided both as a separate file on Zenodo and inside the Data_repository.zip archive.
