MGS Radio Occultation Profiles Rederived in the Southern Polar Night Region of Mars

This dataset contains rederived Mars Global Surveyor (MGS) radio occultation profiles in the southern polar night region of Mars. The rederivation incorporates CO2 partial pressure inferred from Mars Odyssey Gamma Ray Spectrometer argon (GRS-Ar) data, and utilizes temperature climatology from the Mars Climate Sounder (MCS) aboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter to constrain the upper boundary temperature. These improvements reduce uncertainties associated with standard retrievals and enable more accurate analysis of CO2 condensation and supersaturation during the polar night.
