Montipora sp. 1 aff. capitata, is a Montipora species found on the reefs of Falalop, Ulithi Atoll, Yap State, of the Federated States of Micronesia. Montipora sp. 1 aff. capitata is also known as a weedy coral that thrived after the super typhoon Maysak devasted the reefs of Ulithi on April 30th 2015.
