City Master Plans - Overlays

<p>Overlays polygons as determined by the planning department of the City of Alexandria.&nbsp; <span>Small Area Plans are the 18 geographic planning areas within the City that together create the City Master Plan. These master plans are guiding documents that provide community-based long-range planning and analysis regarding the physical development and appearance of neighborhoods across the City. Overlay plans are Supplemental plans and amendments to existing Small Area Plans that provide greater standards or regulations. Properties located within the boundaries are subject to the requirements and regulations per the overlay plan in addition to other City standards and policies.
