World Bank Group Country Survey FY2016 - Armenia

Abstract

The Country Opinion Survey in Armenia assists the World Bank Group (WBG) in gaining a better understanding of how stakeholders in Armenia perceive the WBG. It provides the WBG with systematic feedback from national and local governments, multilateral/bilateral agencies, media, academia, the private sector, and civil society in Armenia on:
1) their views regarding the general environment in Armenia;
2) their overall attitudes toward the WBG in Armenia;
3) overall impressions of the WBG’s effectiveness and results, knowledge work and activities, and communication and information sharing in Armenia;
4) their perceptions of the WBG’s future role in Armenia.

Sampling procedure

From August to September 2015, 203 stakeholders of the WBG in Armenia were invited to provide their opinions on the WBG’s work in the country by participating in a country opinion survey. Participants were drawn from the Office of the President, Office of the Prime Minister, office of a minister; the National Assembly/Parliament; ministries/ministerial departments; Project Management Units (PMUs) overseeing implementation of WBG projects; consultants/contractors working on WBG-supported projects/ programs; local governments; bilateral/multilateral agencies; private sector organizations; the private foundation, the financial sector/private banks; non-profit organizations/community based organizations; the media; independent government institutions; trade unions; faith-based groups, youth groups; academia/research institutes/think tanks; the judiciary branch; and other organizations. A total of 141 stakeholders participated in the survey (70% response rate).

2015年8月至9月，邀请了203位阿塞拜疆世界银行集团利益相关者参与国家观点调查，以提供他们对WBG在该国工作的看法。参与者来自总统办公室、总理办公室、部长办公室；国家议会/国会；部/部级部门；负责WBG项目实施的项目管理单位（PMUs）；在WBG支持的项目/计划上工作的顾问/承包商；地方政府；双边/多边机构；私营部门组织；私人基金会、金融部门/私人银行；非营利组织/社区基础组织；媒体；独立政府机构；工会；基于信仰的团体、青年团体；学术界/研究机构/智库；司法部门；以及其他组织。共有141位利益相关者参与了调查（响应率为70%）。
