The dataset is used to develop an artificial intelligence model for predicting minimum film thickness of a plain journal bearing. Sheet one consists of the 7 inputs located in columns A to G. Column H is the expected output(minimum film thickness). Columns P to W indicate the normalised values of the inputs and output. Sheet 2 displays the developed model in form of explicit mathematical equations.
