In terms of Section 22 of the "Noxious Trades and Cattle Slaughtering Act, 1894" (Act 57 Vic. no.22), regulations were published in the Government Gazette, No. 395 of 15 June 1894, on page 3871, governing the use and custody of the Common Seal of the Board of Health. The Seal was affixed to documents, as ordered at duly constituted meetings of the Board, by the President or two members of the Board in the presence of the Secretary, or the officer performing his duties for the time being. 1 large wooden cabinet.Note:This description is extracted from Concise Guide to the State Archives of New South Wales, 3rd Edition 2000.
