Gene expression of leaves, flowers, insect galls, or artificial galls in Veronica peregrina

Rosette leaves, shoot apex of Veronica peregrina for RNA-seq samples were collected from Kami-Takano, Sakyo-ku, Kyoto, Japan ,and rosette leaves, small galls, large galls and artificial galls of Veronica peregrina for RNA-seq samples were collected from Sakai-fureainomori natural park, Osaka, Japan . Artificial galls were formed by growing Veronica peregrina seedlings on half-strength Murashige and Skoog agar medium containing 1-Naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA), 6-Benzylaminopurine (BAP) and CAP peptide in a growth chamber at 22 degrees Celsius under a 16 hours of light and 8 hours of dark cycle. Total RNA was isolated and sequenced.
