CLM - Woogaroo Subgroup extent

## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement. \n\n\n\nThis shapefile shows the extent of the Woogaroo Subgroup in the CLM bioregion.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThe Woogaroo bedrock dataset is compiled from several sources, including Qld and NSW surface geological maps and well data. In many areas, the exact extent of this formaiton is not well constrained, as this bedrock unit is covered by younger rocks or sediments. Where this is the case, the available data have been combined with geological expert knowledge to infer the extent.
