Supplementary Table 1. Dust source activation events at hourly resolution across East Asia (80–130 °E, 27–52 °N) derived from Himawari-8/9 satellite observations spanning 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2023. The dataset includes the date of dust source activation, onset time recorded at 1 h intervals (UTC), geographic location (longitude and latitude; °E and °N, respectively), and cloud-cover category including clear-sky, cloud-associated, and cloud-obscured conditions.
