Single cell transcriptomic analysis reveals cellular diversity of murine esophageal epithelium and age-associated mitochondrial dysfunction [scRNA-seq]

We have performed single cell RNA-sequencing to characterize the murine esophageal epithelium in young and aged mice. Overall design: We used peeled esophageal epithelium from young (=4 months) and aged (=18 months) mice to investigate the molecular heterogeneity of the esophageal epithelium at single cell resolution.
