Large heterogeneity in biosecurity legislation in the intensive pig production across Europe – Survey data

This dataset was collected for a study identifying which prelisted biosecurity measures were addressed in the national legislation of European countries for the intensive pig production in the absence of disease outbreaks. Additionally, the study looked at biosecurity measures mandatory by entities other than law such as pig sector organizations (industry) in the different countries. Data was collected between January and August 2023. This data was collected as part of the COST Action BETTER project, CA20103, supported by COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) and the Horizon Europe project "Enhanced and cost-effective biosecurity in livestock production", BIOSECURE (101083923).
