Data and code for evaluating ASP suspension effects and spatial spillovers in New York City

This dataset and code package supports the manuscript entitled “When Parking Regulation Pauses: Policy Effects and Spatial Spillovers of New York City’s Alternate Side Parking Suspensions”. The package contains the processed NTA-day panel dataset, spatial weight matrix, NTA-level metadata, regression outputs, figure-generation outputs, and analysis scripts used to evaluate the effects of Alternate Side Parking suspension on illegal-parking complaints in New York City. The processed data integrate publicly available information from NYC 311 Service Requests, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the New York City Department of Sanitation, and NYC Planning. The materials are provided to support transparency, replication, and further research on curbside parking management, transport policy evaluation, and spatial spillover mechanisms.
