Serious Injury Outcome Indicators: 2000–19

Changes since the 2000-18 release: Changes to data: This release incorporates updated national and Māori population estimates based on the 2018 Census of Population and Dwellings and 2018 post-enumeration survey. For more information, see Estimated resident population (2018-base): At 30 June 2018. National population estimates have been revised for the years ended 2013-18. All age-standardised rates for the whole population and children during this period may have changed as a result of this revision. Māori population estimates have been revised for the years ended 2006-18. All age-standardised rates for Māori during this period may have changed as a result of this revision. The household labour force survey (HLFS) has been revised for the years ended 2006-20 to incorporate the updated population estimates. The full-time equivalent employee estimates used in calculation of the age-standardised rates of work-related injuries have been revised for this period, and the rates may have changed as a result of this revision.
