Exploring the potential of lipase producing endophytic bacterial strain E4 isolated from Arthrorocnemum macrostachyum

Endophytes are those microorganisms especially fungi and bacteria that reside inside the plant tissues without causing any harm to the plant, having immense potential of producing varied enzymes besides the phytohormones and metabolites that aids the plant growth. Their extracellular enzyme production aid them to colonize and get nutrition by hydrolysing the complex compounds. These enzymes micro factories are the ultimate requirement of the industries as compared to extraction of enzyme from complex sources. The isolate E4 was isolated from Arthrocnemum macrostachyum and studied for its potential to produce industrially important enzymes.
