The current dataset, encompassing global reservoirs, consolidates several widely used databases, notably GRanD, GOODD, and GeoDAR. These databases offer detailed geospatial metadata, including coordinates and spatial extent. To maximize reservoir inclusion, we integrate data from public geospatial information service platforms such as OpenStreetMap, Tianditu, and AMaps. Throughout the integration process, review and cleaning of data from various sources were conducted to eliminate duplicates and ensure data consistency.
