资源简介:
The South Region has natural environments of exceptional and unique richness in France. This biodiversity is highlighted by the 9 regional nature parks: The Camargue, Alpilles, Luberon, Baronnies Provençales, Verdon, PréAlpes d’Azur, Queyras, Sainte-Baume and Mont-Ventoux created in 2020. The 9 parks of the Sud-Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region have been grouped together since 2015 in an association for the development of joint actions: the [Réseau des Parcs Naturelles Régionales de Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur](https://www.datasud.fr/portal/organisation/parcs-naturels-regionaux-de-provence-alpes-cote-dazur) These regional nature parks cover 890 000 hectares, 266 municipalities, 388 000 inhabitants and attract two million tourists per year. The Regional Climate Plan has made Regional Nature Parks key players in biodiversity conservation, firefighting and environmental education. The five missions of the Parks: * Protection and management of natural and cultural heritage with an incentive to save energy and develop local heritage and know-how * Spatial planning by promoting environmentally friendly projects * Development of economic and social activities such as short circuits, sustainable agriculture, tourism, etc. * Reception, education and public information through environmental awareness * Experimentation and innovation through research programmes
