To investigate the effect of repeated neural overactivation in the transcriptome of dentate gyrus neurons, we optogenetically stimulated mouse dentate gyrus repeatedly. Overall design: We then performed gene expression profiling analysis using data obtained from RNA-seq of mice in four different stimulation conditions and no stimulation condition. Comparative gene expression profiling analysis of RNA-seq data for mouse dentate gyrus neurons in five differnet conditions (No Stimulation, Stimx3+24hrs, Stimx3+2wks, Stimx10+24hrs, and Stimx10+2wks).
