This recommendation aims at the following objectives:
• The recommendation shall be a basis for the standardization of bypass and third-party business processes in the aftermarket area.
• The recommendation shall serve as a guideline in the building and developing of bypass and third-party business processes.
The VDA recommendation 4948 consists of four parts:
T0: Process description and general considerations
T1: Order
T2: Order response
T3: Despatch advice
