Fungal and bacterial communities of root and rhizoplane in Clarkia xantiana ssp. xantiana

We sequenced root and rhizoplane fungal and bacterial communities of one population of the California native plant, Clarkia xantiana ssp. xantiana, grown with six different soil inocula. These plants were grown in the greenhouse at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. The project sought to characterize geographic variation in soil microbial communities and their effects on plant fitness.
