The data for "RSI: A Framework for Identifying Rare Post-Starburst Galaxies in Large Spectroscopic Surveys"

This dataset accompanies "RSI: A Framework for Identifying Rare Post-Starburst Galaxies in Large Spectroscopic Surveys" and provides machine-readable tables of visually vetted post-starburst galaxy candidates identified in the LAMOST DR12 galaxy-spectrum search. The release contains two linked tables: psb_candidates.csv, with 133 candidate objects, and psb_candidate_spectra.csv, with 144 retained spectra. A conservative core of 73 objects and 80 spectra is included within the broader sample. The tables provide candidate and observation identifiers, sky coordinates, redshifts, visual-assessment grades, conservative-core membership flags, a signal-to-noise proxy, and equivalent-width measurements. The accompanying README describes the fields, units, and relationships between the tables. These are candidate catalogs rather than individually confirmed post-starburst galaxies. Raw survey spectra and model weights are not included.
