资源简介:
The fieldwork was conducted in Agden Bog Nature reserve. The bulk density calculations can be found in the file bulk densty.xml. Tree biomass (AGB) was estimated by converting tree data into biomass using allometric equations [Above-ground biomass for birch Biomass=0.1993*(DBH)^2.2491, Hughes (1971); Biomass for Quercus robur = a·Db, where D = DBH (cm)and Biomass for Sorbus aucuparia = a+b·ln(D)+c·(ln(D))2 where D = DBH (cm), Muukkonen and Mäkipää (2006)]. Tree biomass was converted into C stock using a conversion factor of 0.54 for all the species (Renou-Wilson et al., 2010). Stand density (individual ha−1) was also estimated using Stand density (individual/ha) = n/A, where A is the area of the plot (ha). Details of the calculations can be found in plotwisedata_Tree C stocks.xml file. A CN analysis was carried out in the lab. Soil carbon stocks (in t/ha) were calculated using the equation SOC stock (Mg ha−1) = SOC % × BD × SD, where BD bulk density of soil (g cm− 3) and SD soil depth (cm), Pearson et al., (2005). The details can be found in SOCdata_CNanalysis.xml file. The concise data from all plots can be found in concisedata_allplots.xml file.
