When we analyzed ribosome profiling in the acute prefrontal cortex of MK-801-exposed male mice, 357 differentially translated genes were identified, with the N4-acetylcytidine (ac4C) consensus motif enriched in the transcripts with increased translation efficiency.We then used acetylated RNA immunoprecipitation sequencing to investigate the epigenetic modification of ac4C motifs in this animal model. Overall design: acetylated RNA immunoprecipitation sequencing (acRIP-seq) for the PFC of MK-801-exposed male C57/BL6 mice and vehicle mice.
