Analysis of the genetic structure of the Japanese Blue Rock Thrush using MIG-seq. Monticola solitarius

The Blue rock thrush is a species of bird in the Muscicapidae family, widely distributed in Africa and Eurasia include Japan. It is a wide habitat in Japan and also inhabits islands. In this study, we aimed to examine the genetic relationship between among any Japanese population using MIG-seq method. To obtain genotyping data for random SNPs from the nuclear DNA using a PCR-based method, we ran Multiplexed Inter Simple Sequence Repeat (ISSR) Genotyping by sequencing (MIG-seq) analysis. As a result of MIG-seq, the total number of reads was 3719079, and the average number of reads per sample was 75600.
