EU Cancer Projects

A dataset of EU cancer projects funded by the EU during 2014-2024. Projects from different funding programmes have been assembled into a single, harmonised dataset. The dataset comprises over 3,700 projects with a combined EU contribution of EUR 6.4 billion. The main funding programmes are Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe, EU4Health and Digital Europe. Each project is accompanied by rich meta data, including ID, acronym, title, objective, keywords, topic, start date and budget. Over 40% of the projects have also been tagged with a cancer type (based on the cancer-type list of the International Cancer Research Partnership).
