Data on Effect of Phytase Addition to Cowpea-based Poultry Feed on Growth Parameters and Nutrient Utilization of Broiler Chicks

The dataset described here was collected to assess the effect of phytase addition on growth parameters and nutrient utilization of broiler chicks. A total of seventy birds were used for this study. They were divided in four diet treatment groups with three replicates each. Each replicate contained six birds per pen.Data was collected daily for a period of 31 days. Data for all parameters excluding height (cm) was measured in grams. The dataset is presented as an excel workbook containing 3 worksheets.
