Resequencing of Staphylococcus xylosus populations evolved on cheese

The bacterium Staphylococcus xylosus was experimentally evolved on a cheese medium in different biotic environments (alone without other microbes, with the yeast Debaryomyces hansenii, with a bacterium Brevibacterium sp., and with a fungus Penicillium sp.). We sequenced whole genomes of isolated colonies from across these treatments using Illumina short-read sequencing to identify mutations in the genomes of the bacterium. These deposited data are the raw Illumina files from this sequencing.
