French motorcyclists in favor of loud exhaust systems for security reasons 2018

Although exhaust systems tampered with to make them louder were not popular among French motorcyclists in 2018, 57 percent of them were nonetheless favorable towards easily audible exhaust systems. Such opinion could partly be motivated by security reasons such as the willingness to signal their presence to other road users.
