Genome-wide Analysis of DNA Methylation in Hop Plants Infected with CBCVd

In this study, we performed a comparative analysis of DNA methylation between viroid-free and CBCVd-infected hop plants of the 'Celeia' cultivar. Genomic DNA was extracted from collected hop leaves and subjected to whole-genome bisulfite sequencing using the Illumina platform. Comprehensive DNA methylation profiling aimed to provide insights into the underlying mechanisms of viroid-induced diseases in hop plants.
