This dataset contains field and experimental data on moss community dynamics, biomass, cover, and physiological functions (photosynthesis and N₂-fixation) along a 129-year primary successional chronosequence on the glacial retreat area of Hailuogou Glacier, eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
