资源简介:
This archive contains basal water pressure measurements collected from 14 boreholes drilled to the bed of the Greenland Ice Sheet (GrIS). The boreholes range in depth from 100 to 815 meters (m) and are located at various drilling sites, extending up to 46 kilometers (km) inland from the ice margin. The boreholes were drilled using a hot water drill and fitted with water pressure transducers installed just above the bed. Drilling was conducted between 2010 and 2014, and the pressure records span various time periods. The time intervals between measurements vary but are typically 1, 5 or 15 minutes. These records provide the measured head above the water pressure transducer. Borehole depths can be used to calculate the overburden pressure and convert the measurements to a fraction of overburden pressure.
