The "Biennial Reporting System" database contains biennial
reports submitted by generators of hazardous wastes and
facilities that treat, store or dispose of hazardous wastes. The
reports are required by the Resource Conservation and Recovery
Act (RCRA) under Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations
(CFR). The database contains national and state-level data and
analyses on the types and amounts of hazardous wastes generated,
waste treatment methods, and waste management and minimization
practices. The Biennial Reporting System contains also ranking
of types and amounts of hazardous wastes generated by states and
facilities; imports and exports of hazardous along with summary
profiles of the generation and management of hazardous wastes
for each state.
